Meet the cats

When it came to thinking of a name for this website, I really had to think for a minute. I love all animals, I love nature, I love adventures... trying to put every animal, tree, flower and adventure in one name would give me a whole book. So I went with the cats. Not because I love them the most, absolutely all are more than welcome here! But because the cats are where much of my photo life started and how it still carries on today. The cover photo here is of Sui who I met on the street with her baby Kylie. Both these beautiful girls made sure to give me the full 101 on how to become a cat lady, while also having me take out a camera again. After Sui and Kylie passed, I wasn't quite ready yet to be a cat mom again so I started volunteering at Kitten rescue cat sanctuary, where you can still find me every weekend, camera in hand and trying to not come home with every cat. Though I did happily fail with that one in bringing home my handsome felv boys, Chris and Smokey. After they had to say their goodbyes, my old man Bobby moved in and after inviting herself in from the street, Holly soon followed. And then off course I make sure to find every cat I can along the way in my daily adventures. It didn't seem surprising that everyone soon started calling me Kat, add my love of weekly adventures with my camera in hand, a traveling cat photographer seemed who I had become, and I am more than happy with that. If I were to post all my cat friends here, we would be back to that whole book idea.
